TRUST — That Thing We All Avoid Until We Can’t
Sep 13, 2025
You know what’s funny about trust? We all say we want it. We want to trust life, trust people, trust ourselves. But when it’s time to actually lean back and let the Universe catch us, we suddenly turn into that person clinging to the edge of the pool because “what if I drown?” Boo, if you can’t even let go of the ledge, you’ll never know how magical it feels to float. And floating — that’s your intuition’s love language. It’s your inner knowing whispering, "I’ve got you"… even when everything outside of you looks like a hot mess.
The thing is, trusting your intuition isn’t about knowing every step. It’s about believing the next step will show up when it’s time. It’s the spiritual version of driving in the fog — you can only see so far ahead, but somehow, you still get where you’re going. And yes, sometimes you hit a pothole. Sometimes you take the wrong turn and end up at a weird diner in the middle of nowhere. But here’s the magic — those “wrong” turns often lead you exactly where you needed to be to learn the next piece of your puzzle.
I’ve had those moments where I thought, “Well, this is it… I’ve officially ruined everything.” And yet, months later, I’m looking back going, “Ohhh… so THAT’S why that happened.” The setback wasn’t punishment — it was a pivot. Intuition doesn’t care about the ego’s need for a flawless record. It cares about you becoming more you. And sometimes that means walking through situations that look like chaos, just so you can build the spiritual muscle to trust yourself deeper. And I keep learning this at a deeper level every day because my mind has a hard time letting go of what isn't here anymore. If you know, you know.
Trust, especially self-trust, is like a relationship — you have to nurture it. Every time you listen to that gut nudge and it works out, you strengthen the bond. And even when you listen and it doesn’t work out the way you thought it would, guess what? You still win. Why? Because you chose you. You honoured that quiet voice instead of shoving it down in favour of someone else’s logic or fear. That’s you saying, “I’m my own safe space.” That’s you proving to yourself that you’re worth listening to.
And here’s the kicker — the more you trust yourself, the less terrifying the unknown becomes. You stop looking for guarantees. You stop begging for step-by-step instructions from the Universe. Instead, you start living like life is on your team, even when it’s messy. You start knowing that setbacks aren’t roadblocks, they’re speed bumps. Annoying? Yes. Fatal? No. Trust becomes the glue that holds you together when the world tries to convince you to fall apart.
So, Lovee, let this be your gentle-but-firm nudge — your intuition is not here to mislead you. It’s here to guide you home, again and again, no matter how many detours you take. Stop questioning if you’re “doing it right.” Start asking, “Am I listening?” And then, for real — listen. The more you do, the more you’ll see that even through the mistakes, the missed turns, and the big, scary unknowns… you’ve been held the whole time.
